THE GOAT PROJECT - HELP FOR SELF-RELIANCE

The concept behind The Goat Project is to provide selected families in our support program with the opportunity for "help for self-reliance" by giving them a goat and a billy goat each.

Goats are resilient animals that are easy to care for. They eat nearly everything they come across, such as grass, branches, and leaves. They provide fertilization for fields/plants and can be bred and sold so that families can generate income.

The hope is that over time, families will be able to pay for their children's education and/or obtain essential items like food and healthcare without any assistance from us.

Several goats have already been distributed, and the families are well underway with their new project. Rudos has appointed a volunteer coordinator who visits the families each month to provide advice and guidance on goat husbandry.

You can help us acquire more goats by purchasing a gift card -
